Elena has graduated with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London. She has experience in working with children with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and is dedicated to help pupils achieve to their potential. Elena believes that education is a right to which we are all entitled, regardless of ability or circumstance. She is committed to take action to remove barriers to learning and advocates for effective special education provision in Bulgaria.
Elena has also gained experience and insight in her role as a Wellbeing Coordinator at Kingston University London, supporting young people’s mental health and welfare. She has provided guidance and advice to international students with a wide range of psychological needs and difficulties. Elena is currently working as a School Psychologist at St. George International School and Preschool. She is supporting children aged 11-18 cope with mental health difficulties and school-related struggles and pressure. Elena sees the importance of raising mental health awareness in schools and providing a safe environment that caters for pupils’ wellbeing. She believes that pupils are more likely to perform at their best, when they are feeling happy and healthy within themselves and their environment.
